Education is a constant struggle in Southern Sudan, as our nation continues to recover from the decades of civil war that ravished its infrastructure.

We don't want to have a school where our kids learn simply to read and write and survive, but a school where they learn to dream.

We opened our doors in 2007 and now have over 150 students enrolled studying in Nursery-P3 (Third grade). YCV-DS is registered and accredited by the local education authorities.

We are in constant need of trained teachers, retired or otherwise, who might like to come to Sudan and conduct continuing education/ training workshops for our teachers.
